Lust - Eki

MIA - Means the enemy has left their lane and/or is not visible. Usually a warning that they are coming to gank.

Gank - An unexpected, coordinated attack from your team/the enemy.

Ward - Wards give vision over the map.

CS - Creep score, this means how many minions you have obtained the last hit on. Jungle camps all give you 4 CS.

CC - Crowd Control. Anything that removes a player's ability to do something. This includes, and is not limited to: stuns, snares, silences, knockups, polymorphs, slows, suppresses, and so on.

Peel - Anything that will prevent the enemy from killing a teammate.

DoT - Damage over Time.

Jungler/Jungle - Refers to the Jungle where the neutral minions/buffs spawn
at. Junglers have a presence on the map during the early game where ganks control the outcome of lanes. They also manage neutral minions, distributing blue/red buffs to teammates who need them after your first clear. Junglers usually give Epic monsters (Baron and Dragon) the final blow and secure the objective, using their smite ability that does massive damage to monsters.

Tank - Excel at building high defensive stats, as their role comes from using CC instead of doing damage. (hahaha)

Control Mage - Provide consistent DPS and/or hard CC via magic damage.

Assassins - Champions who's abilities deal high burst damage, capable of executing carries and struggle against defensive stats.

Support - There are two kinds. Supports can either buff their teammates or CC the other team, depending on team composition. They usually can peel for teammates or can provide an engage.

AD Carry/DPS - The word used to replace "marksman". Most commonly played bot lane, ADCs are squishy ranged champions that are capable of doing more consistent damage over a long period of time-- often with auto attacks.
