It doesn't. I tested it. I thought it worked too, and I was like, "What am I doing wrong?" but then I looked in your script and found we set the camera the same way, then I tested it and yours didn't work either.
The problem is that new versions ignore or barely pay attention to set_camera_pos(x,y,z)
Like, the camera moves a bit, but I think that's just because the lookat point is changing.
