did u edit You'r tori item.dat?cause if u did,it would not work cause it will update when toribash opens,so u gonna need to do this step :-
Press at right click at the item.dat,press properties,check the "Hidden only" and press apply then ok.
if it dosent work,then u should try to edit other players dat like i did,i made a new folder called "Troll" and putted the item.dat in it(the pic is that player with void/pure force) and edited bes's folder too(the 2nd pic)
