I think it’s already known that the forums are an integral part of the game’s longevity, and there are multiple players who have been playing the game for 4-5 years and have only 30 posts or less. Wether or not that’s an issue with the forums or the player I’m not sure, but what I do know is that there is also a clear divide between people active in game and people active on forums.

Practically any change that would combat this issue would improve the amount of activity, at least in theory. I would suggest rewards for achieving a certain number of posts; giving a unique un-tradable item could be sufficient enough.
