[Solved] Failed to open History.log
My game opens and runs for very short periods of time, then crashes. I am running windows XP Service Pack 3. Stderr.txt repotts failed to open history.log. I have tried reinstalling to different directories, using older versions, and a fix I found in an earlier thread about deleting replays, none of this seems to work. What do?

I seem to have resolved this and am now receiving a new error. density statement out of context

Try that. It's installed, zipped, and (should-be) working version of 3.91.
< Larfen> also my replay thread has more views than the rules thread \o/

I saw you posting in the other threads I browsed and tried this version, I get the same problem.

I am going to reply to the poster above you as well. I have tried previous versions, I relieve the history.log error. With your upload, the stderr.txt reads as follows. Raytracing not supported Fluid blood supported (level 4 of 4) Ambient Occlusion + Bumpmapping supported (level 12 of 12) Buffer 0 is dimensions 240 135 Buffer 1 is dimensions 2048 2048 replay folder is empty
At this point I'd go with classics. Update your GFX drivers and Visual C++.

Then remove all mods/scripts/etc you've installed and try again. What I gather from Googles' hits "density statement out of context" seems to point toward broken/outdated mod/script
