Your intentions may be good, but sadly this thread has many flaws.
Mainly, you shouldn't have the need gain respect if you use common sense. All of this tutorial is based on common sense. If a user does not already have common sense, they wont search for such threads in the tutorials board. If they do already have common sense, they wont need such threads.
Even if we had a board full of these tutorials, it wouldn't change how people behave.
