when im in a game and i press the ESC button a lil black arrow shows and nothing else. Please help?

^ There's the solution. You need a new graphics driver.

1st you need to find out what graphics hardware you have. To do that:

Start -> run -> DXDIAG

Click on the display tab & you'll see what you've got listed next to "name"

Then you just go to the manufacturer's website & get a new driver.

Thats the "name" of it. idk if thats good or not, i just need to be able to display the writing on the menu screen. like i said all thats showing up is the toribash trademark and the circled black arrow

You should not need to pay for an update on your graphics card.

well can anybody help? Just tell me like how to turn shaders on or off, and display the menu?

Try to google your graphics card and find the update for it.

Turn Shaders on/off : Once you'll see the menu, get in Setup > Options and click on Shaders. Checked = Shaders ON - Unchecked = Shaders OFF
