You don't download a router... it's usually your modem, which is usually here... I can't help you with in-router difficulties...

Everytime I click here it takes me to a mywebsearch thing and it says network magic and all these other sites where you find the IP or something like that

your router isn't a program, it's a box usually next to your computer or modem.

No, depends on your ISP usually, what it sounds like is either router trouble, or firewall trouble. I highly doubt it's the latter...
