I haven't played in a long time, and I forgot how to change your name on your profile so it matches in-game.

Like if my name were Facepunch
I'd have to put Facepunch somewhere on my profile so that items and stuff work.

So, you're saying that your name in-game is (let's assume) Facepunch, and your forum name is Pfargtl?

I'd say email [email protected] to get your name changed.

Even so, if you're playing ingame, you can easily find the login button requesting your username and password. To have a different name, you need your account changed. Which is something or other that still needs to be worked out. As stated in A&G.
