So many people have the black blood issue. Seems to all be with the ATI Radeon X00 series. Pissaunt. Mine just went today from Squares to Triangles.

i have windows vista.

i tried to enable the shaders without success... help!

edit: ok! solve it! i reinstalled my graphics card drivers...

it doesn't crash or anything, just resets "shaders 1" to "shaders 0". i've seen others have this problem. a lot of people, actually, so is it just a simple mistake we've all done.

i've tried the -shaders 1 fix, won't work

card:

512 MB RAM (my good stuff died on me)


Something to look into:

My card does not support Pixel Shader 3.0. As such, I can't run Bioshock without everything looking like black squares. I can't even switch on the shaders in this game, but the descriptions of the errors people are saying.. well, they sound familiar.

Perhaps you guys accidentally implemented Pixel Shader 3.0 without putting in 2.0 support?
