I recently could not open Toribash, it kept crashing every time I tried it. So after about 18 failed attempts I re-installed it. But I was dumbfounded when I opened the game to find that apparently I don't have write permissions for the game. I never changed my login account, nor did I mess with any toribash settings yet. But for some reason it won't let me save replays, download textures, or even download new mods. It also tells me I'm not logged in every time I open the game. (Have to retype my username and pass... extremely annoying) Please help me, here is a screenie of what I mean:

Folder where Toribash (application) is at the moment doesn't have enough permissions (i.e it lacks writing permission), causin' all problems mentioned in your post.

Easiest solution would be to move Toribash application to 'Applications' folder.

..Bit more complex solution would be meddling with folder permissions either via command line or GUI interface...
