That's normal, just join it with 127.0.0.1ort and see that it works. You can't type any commands into that prompt, although it will output lots of useful data.

Clicking on the shortcut. That makes the box saying "Toribashd: protocol version 26 running on port 20184 hit Ctrl-C to quit" in it.

Ok heres my IP number 72.49.200.9:20184 so still I have no connection I opened the toribash_server.exe and didnt click c-ctrl I put my server in the server text and I played toribash and STILL NO CONNECTION should I do something with torilaunch because at this point I am confused

You did try the IP 127.0.0.1:20184?

Also, if you use that, you have to forward ports, so as to allow an outside connection...
