Why do my graphics suck so much butt.. I think I can get shaders because my laptop runs vista. there is no reason why this is happening. link me to a graphic card upgrade thread please.

Did you got any n-Vidia or ATI graphic card? If don't, you never gonna have Shaders dude ^^

how can you tell what graphics card you have?

Just check computer->properties->advanced system settings->hardware->device manager->display adapter ( There you find your graphics card name).This will work for windows 7. For windows Vista i think this work too.
