Hi everyone i'm new here and I downloaded toribash but i'm getting weird lag spikes like every 10 seconds! Does anyone have same problem please tell me how i fix it. Thanks.

Do you have shaders turned on? If your computer can't handle it, that may be the reason. Try turning off Fluid Blood.

They were both off so that can't be the reason

Give us your system specs.

Every 10 or so seconds? Is it only this game? If it's in all games, it could be overheating problem. But i say nothing before i see specs

i has an idera.. maybe its the physics calculations?!?!? duh -.- prove me otherwise

It's only this game what's lagging like that but please could you tell me where I can find my system specs

EDIT: Now I found something so here they are:

Processor: Intel (R) Pentium (R)4 CPU 3.0 GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1024 Mt RAM
DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c
Operating system: Windows XP professional

Tell me if I missed something I'm pretty bad with these system spec thingys..

Try this:

Disconnect from the internet, and then start Toribash.
If the lagging stopped, it happens because Toribash downloads updates while running.

You can let it update for a few minutes (check autoupdate.log every one in a while to see when it's done) and then start playing regularly.

You missed your GPU (3dCard)
And you're sure such a problem doesn't come up in other games?
Have you ever done bittorrenting? If so, does the problem happen there too?

Do you have any other programs running or have 2 toribash windows open at the same time?
