The fastest way to learn is by searching on youtube for some openers in specific mod, use it and try to figure out each body part's function.

The way I learned was just playing and playing till I got better.
many computers lost there lives to my raging epidemics.
Try moving your joints around see what can make in free play.
You can also watch other people play on youtube, it might help you understand how to use your joints. Its perfectly fine to ask in the beginner sanctuary to.
