Ok, I may as well start a new thread for this one.

I've got a 3dfx Voodoo 5500 I'm screwing around with and I'd like to be able to use it to play Toribash. I can get Toribash to open and render things all pretty-like (sans shaders) but I can't have a mouse while I do it. It's like I don't even have a mouse plugged in; really odd.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Try plugging it in a different USB port and restart your computer

Well... the mouse works fine. Just not in Toribash.

Are you opening tb.exe? Check the file size, if its 0kb its a fucked up file.

O_o No, I'm using the shortcut to toribash.exe. Neither of them are 0kB.

EDIT: I tried running tb.exe and I could use the mouse, but there was no cursor.

Thats a problem, seems your mouse doesn't want to show .-.

Well yeah... actually I'm gonna try changing a video driver setting...

EDIT: Nope, the drivers had a setting to use a hardware cursor but that didn't help. When I have tb.exe running it freezes with a funny graphics glitch after a while so that's out.

Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Are you using any cursor software, to change its appearance?
