how to make fire/lightning using gimp
Ok , first open gimp , then just draw anything all over the page , then use the smudge tool , but only do it in the direction you want you're fire/lightning to go . next go to colour balance and add whatever colours you want

Thanks , helped alot , even though is such a simple tutorial , makes very realistic flames/lightning , also works for hair if you flip it upside down
