Does your router have a firewall, because if so, then your connection might be getting blocked.
Try to turn off any firewall and try to go online again.

Maybe its actually something to do with your router and not your comp. Does your browser work properly? Or it could be insanely slow.

I had this problem a while ago, turned out to be a routing issue with my ISP, try pinging or running tracert to one of the servers and see what response you get back.

I have the same problem. I tried reinstalling the game, changing my password, disabling my firewall, nothing worked. I can't login to play online.

i was playing online just fine a few minutes ago and now it crashes whenever i click play online..... what's the deal.
