Hello everyone!
Today Cake's going to show you how to make your own usertitle.

The maximum size by Nabi customization store is 150x20px. Let's do this.

I'll be using gimp for my demonstration.

1.Download Gimp 2.8 or any previous versions.

2.Click on File, then click new.


3.Set the height and width as follows.


4. Zoom in to 200% for better visuals.




5. Select your two favorite colors, and select the gradient tool.




6. Make your gradient.


7. You'll have something like this:



8. Now you'll be needing to add the border. Let's do this.



And then you'll have this:


We'll be setting the color to black. And 1px by 1px.

And:




9. Time for some texts. Select the text tool and now we're off for some text adding!



Customize your initials there. And we have something like this:



The quality may be a bummer but remember, we're 200% magnified.

10. Final touches, I'm doing a reflection.

Make a new layer.
Now you'll have something like this, after adding the white bit.




Don't worry, I'll show you how this works...


Now reduce the opacity as much as you like.


11. Now the border. Go to layer > layer boundary size and click on resize.

Now go to Layers > Transparency > Alpha to selection

Now you'll have the selection around your text.

Click on select from the option tabs, and click grow.



Make a new layer beneath the Outer border.

And paint it black on that layer. This will result in something like this:




And see the magic:

This is a decent and understandable tutorial,
Even though i don't know any thing about Usertitle.

I'm using PS, is there any difference?

I know this is gonna sound kinda dumb, but, where do you find the user title menu? Is it vip only or something?

Appologies, this is acually a USERBAR not a Usertitle (call it whatever you like)
They are completely different objects. It's for signatures too.
And yes, they are VIP (sort-of).



The layer and opacity terms stay the same.
You may have a little trouble orienting yourself with the tabs that's all.

Uh, could you tell me what 'sort of' means in this context?
