The particpants signed up for this event a week ago. However, none of them knew exactly what to expect. Just the general guidelines were given, which mentionned "trials". Said trials were supposed to be multiplayer and singleplayer events, but little did they know that they would actually be fighting for their lives...
On August 7th, each participant received the following PM in their inbox, announcing the start of the event and the drastic turn it would take:

> Didn't you ever find it weird that a few details were missing? Just enough were placed to have people naïvely sign up, and you took the bait.

You quickly come to your senses. You are in the middle of the jungle. A bunch of boxes are placed in a circle. W..What is that? A man is hovering above the ground, his face is familiar. It's, it's... Melmoth, the man wealthy man who sponsored the "event"! Why is he hovering, you ask yourself.
You try and take a step forward. Suddenly, you feel a divine power force you to take a knee.
Melmoth begins to talk...
"Hello, mortal. You are most likely wondering why you have been summoned here. So many questions, so little answers. I will try and quench your thirst for knowledge. Every year, to maintain my immortal aspect and demonic powers, I must feast on worthless humans. Because I am a generous man and I believe in hope, I host a tournament called "The Malmoth Cup". In said tournament, I allow 1 survivor, the toughest of the bunch, to carry on with his life.
The first trial you must undergo to retrieve your freedom is to create the most amazing replay you possibly can. In this replay, the main theme will be manipulations. In other words, you must use manipulations on uke to prevent me from taking a bite out of you. Once you are done manipulating uke, I command you to bash him. I am a connoisseur of the finest replay making. Hence, I will order you to be as fluid as you possibly can.
- The replay must contain atleast one manipulation
-Gravity: -9.71
- You may change every other game rule.
- Your replay must be new
- No replay hacking
- Maximum of 1 replay per person
Failure to respect these rules will result in disqualification
If I think you are amongst the 40 participants who I believe are worthy of holding on to their lives for a few extra days, you will advance to the next round.
If not, I will devour you. Simplicity at it's finest.Your name will be crossed off the the list of the ashamed.
