How to: Upload pictures to forums
Step 1: Go to http://photobucket.com/
Step 2: At the top, by the search bar, click the "Sign Up" button\
Step 3: Follow account creation process
Step 4: Click the green "Upload Now" button at the top when signed in
Step 5: Select the file(s) you want to upload (hold control to select multiple)
Step 6: Go to your albums
Step 7: Hold your mouse over the picture, Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, and IMG Code should pop up
Step 8: Copy the text in the IMG Code section
Step 9: Paste text on forum (DON'T USE "INSERT IMAGE")
Step 10: Done!

Hmm, I really suggest using Imgur instead of Photobucket. There's no sign-up or anything needed, you just go and upload your image there and get a really short url. 
It's really easy to use, and it's reliable.
