When I click "Yes, post a poll with this thread", a place to submit my poll options doesn't appear, just how many poll options I would like. Help?

Go to thread tools after you've made a thread and click make a poll or something similar.

1: Write up the thread.
2: Tick "Add poll"
3: Submit thread.
4: A window/option thingy will open allowing you to select all your poll options.
5: Configure poll and submit.
